\u0130ntihar, yani insan\u0131n kendi hayat\u0131na bilerek ve isteyerek son vermesi hadisesi bende en fazla merak uyand\u0131ran konular\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda gelir.\u00a0 Albert Camus intihar\u0131 “Ki\u015finin, hayat\u0131n kendisini a\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 veya ya\u015fam\u0131 anlamad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 itiraf etmesidir.” olarak izah etmi\u015f.\u00a0 Bunun yan\u0131nda toplumun genel kan\u0131s\u0131 intihar\u0131n bir ak\u0131l hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n nihai neticesi oldu\u011fu y\u00f6n\u00fcndedir.\u00a0 Psikopatalojik sebepler elbette g\u00f6zard\u0131 edilemez ama intihar\u0131 yaln\u0131zca buna ba\u011flamak ger\u00e7eklere g\u00f6zlerini yummak olur.<\/p>\n
Bir insan\u0131n hayat\u0131ndan vazge\u00e7mesinin ne denli korkun\u00e7 bir hadise oldu\u011fu ortadad\u0131r.\u00a0 Ortada Tanr\u0131n\u0131n bah\u015fetti\u011fi bir can ve o can\u0131 yeti\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in y\u0131llar y\u0131l\u0131 verilen bir emek vard\u0131r.\u00a0 T\u00fcm bunlar\u0131 hi\u00e7e sayarak bir anda hayattan \u00e7ekilme karar\u0131n\u0131 alabilmek ba\u015fl\u0131 ba\u015f\u0131na \u00fczerinde kafa yorulmas\u0131 gereken bir konudur.\u00a0 Bunu korkakl\u0131k olarak g\u00f6rme e\u011filimi de vard\u0131r.\u00a0 \u00c7o\u011fu insana g\u00f6re intihar eden ki\u015fi, ya\u015famdan ve onun getirdi\u011fi zorluklardan y\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, art\u0131k bu g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fcklerle ba\u015f emek yerine “kolay” olan\u0131, “korkakl\u0131\u011f\u0131” se\u00e7mi\u015f ve intihar etmi\u015ftir.\u00a0 Oysa intihar ba\u015fl\u0131 ba\u015f\u0131na bir cesaret g\u00f6sterisidir.\u00a0 Bir meydan okumad\u0131r.\u00a0 Bunu intihar\u0131 y\u00fcceltmek i\u00e7in de\u011fil, bir ger\u00e7ek oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in s\u00f6yl\u00fcyorum.\u00a0 Neticede kendinden g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc insanlara kar\u015f\u0131 meydan okumak, onlarla kavgaya tutu\u015fmak da bir cesaret g\u00f6stergesidir ama \u00f6v\u00fclecek, takdir edilecek bir hadise de\u011fildir.<\/p>\n
Yukar\u0131da al\u0131nt\u0131lad\u0131\u011f\u0131m Camus’un s\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fcn aksine belki de intihar arzusu ya\u015fam\u0131 tam anlam\u0131yla anlam\u0131\u015f olmakla alakal\u0131d\u0131r.\u00a0 Ya\u015fam\u0131n, hi\u00e7bir \u015fekilde d\u00fczeltilemeyecek yanl\u0131\u015flar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 duyulan bir \u00f6fke ve bu \u00f6fkenin getirdi\u011fi umutsuzlukla alakal\u0131d\u0131r.\u00a0 Ne diyordu Vaiz? “\u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u00e7ok bilgelik \u00e7ok keder do\u011furur, bilgi artt\u0131k\u00e7a ac\u0131 da artar.” (Vaiz 1:18)<\/p>\n
Bunun yan\u0131nda kimi insanlarda \u00e7ok k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ya\u015flarda ba\u015flayan ve devaml\u0131l\u0131k arz eden bir \u00f6l\u00fcm arzusu vard\u0131r.\u00a0 Bu arzunun d\u0131\u015favurumu “depresiflik” olarak yorumlansa da benim bu konuda da itiraz\u0131m var.\u00a0 \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc arzulayan bu insanlar\u0131n i\u00e7lerinde ger\u00e7ek manada ya\u015fama sevinci oldu\u011funu g\u00f6rebilirsiniz.\u00a0 Onlara saf sevgiyle yakla\u015fmak, bast\u0131rd\u0131klar\u0131 o mutlu benliklerini ortaya \u00e7\u0131karmalar\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flar.\u00a0 \u00a0Ne var ki insanlar do\u011falar\u0131 gere\u011fi k\u00f6t\u00fcd\u00fcrler ve bu “saf sevgi” ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 asla gidermeyeceklerdir.\u00a0 “Depresif” olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclen insanlar ise \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc sonsuz bir g\u00fcd\u00fcyle arzulamaya devam edeceklerdir.\u00a0 A\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7 travmalar ya\u015fayanlar ya da bu d\u00fcrt\u00fcleriyle art\u0131k ba\u015f edemeyenler ise intihar\u0131 ciddi anlamda g\u00fcndemlerine alacaklard\u0131r.<\/p>\n
Travmalara ba\u011fl\u0131 intiharlar\u0131 inceledi\u011fimizde; kad\u0131nlarda gebelik ve bo\u015fanma sonras\u0131 intiharlar\u0131n yayg\u0131n oldu\u011funu g\u00f6rmekteyiz.\u00a0 Erkeklerde ise i\u015f hayat\u0131ndaki ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131zl\u0131k (iflas \u00f6zellikle) ve kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131ks\u0131z a\u015fk \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131kmaktad\u0131r.\u00a0 Her iki cinsiyette de bu travmalarda bask\u0131n olan duygunun umutsuzluk ve kayg\u0131 oldu\u011fu a\u015fik\u00e2rd\u0131r.<\/p>\n
Hen\u00fcz 42 ya\u015f\u0131nda bir otel odas\u0131nda hayat\u0131na son veren Cesare Pavese ad\u0131ndaki \u0130talyan \u015fairin umutsuz a\u015fk ile alakal\u0131 tespiti de dikkate de\u011ferdir.\u00a0 Pavese “\u0130nsan, kendini bir kad\u0131na duydu\u011fu a\u015fktan dolay\u0131 \u00f6ld\u00fcrmez.\u00a0 \u0130nsan, kendini, bir a\u015fk, bir kad\u0131n, ona kendi \u00e7\u0131plakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, sefaletini, aczini ve hi\u00e7li\u011fini if\u015fa etti\u011fi i\u00e7in \u00f6ld\u00fcr\u00fcr.” diyor.\u00a0 Ki intihar mektubunda da kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131ks\u0131z a\u015fk ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 Dowling’e “Kendini asla su\u00e7lu hissetme, sen sadece bahane olabilirsin.\u00a0 As\u0131l su\u00e7 bende, benim o i\u00e7ten i\u00e7e g\u00fcl\u00fcmseyen huzursuzlu\u011fumda.” diyerek intihara giden yolda kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131ks\u0131z a\u015fk\u0131n son damla oldu\u011funu vurguluyor.<\/p>\n
Bende iz b\u0131rakan bir di\u011fer dram da Stefan Zweig’in intihar\u0131d\u0131r.\u00a0 Zweig, ikinci d\u00fcnya sava\u015f\u0131n\u0131n getirdi\u011fi mecburiyetler neticesinde do\u011fup b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00fclkeyi terk etmek zorunda kalm\u0131\u015f, sonras\u0131nda hayat\u0131n\u0131 Amerika k\u0131tas\u0131nda s\u00fcrd\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.\u00a0 Edebiyat\u00e7\u0131larda s\u0131kl\u0131kla rastlanan melankolik ruh hali, bu zorunlu kopu\u015f neticesinde Zweig’in ruhunu tamamen ele ge\u00e7irmi\u015ftir.\u00a0 Parlak bir yazarl\u0131k kariyerinin sava\u015f neticesinde y\u0131k\u0131lmas\u0131, \u00fclkesinden ayr\u0131lmak zorunda kalmas\u0131 ve nihayetinde gelecek konusundaki belirsizlik Zweig’i intihara s\u00fcr\u00fcklemi\u015ftir.\u00a0 Kar\u0131s\u0131yla birlikte, yine bir otel odas\u0131nda, 60 ya\u015f\u0131ndayken hayat\u0131na son vermi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n
